Joseph has spent most of his life involved in funeral service, working for the family business from a young age he has learned to value the funeral service industry and the meaningful work done for every family.
Joseph graduated from the Kansas City Kansas Community College mortuary science program in 2015 and began managing the Winfield branch of the Shelley Funeral Homes, formerly the Swisher Taylor and Morris Funeral Home.
He and his wife Lydia were married in 2015 and made their home in Winfield. They love the community of Cowley County and they enjoy serving at their church and other local organizations.

Steve grew up south of Saint Joseph, Missouri and attended Missouri Western State College in St. Joseph for three years before attending Calvary Bible College in Belton, Missouri.
After graduating in 1992 from Kansas City Community College of Mortuary Science, Steve & Dawn moved to Creston, Iowa where they lived and worked for several years. Through a mutual acquaintance, Steve and his wife Dawn met Jerry and Lucretia Hawks, who were willing to give the Shelley’s an ownership opportunity. Steve and his family love the Wellington community and enjoy the friends they have made.

Lucas Kuchar is originally from Winfield, KS. Upon entering Jr. High School his family moved to South Haven where he graduated from high school. From a young age, Lucas was interested in funeral service. During his years in high school, Lucas worked for Steve Shelley part-time in Wellington, KS, and was active in the Catholic church as an organist.
In 2022, Lucas graduated from Kansas City Kansas Community College with an associate's degree in Mortuary Science. He recently married the loved of his life, Melissa Kuchar, and the couple made their home in Arkansas City. Together they enjoy cooking, milking cows, going to movies, growing pumpkins, and being music ministers at Sacred Heart Catholic Church where Lucas currently plays the organ.
Lucas looks forward to assisting families, meeting new people, and growing strong relationships with the people of Arkansas City and the surrounding area.
