Tommy Franklin Rose, 74, of Rock, KS passed away Friday, August 20, 2021 at his home.
According to Tom’s wishes, cremation will take place. No public services are scheduled at this time. Memorial contributions for Tom may be made to the Ehlers-Danlos Society (EDS), donations may be left in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield.
Tom was born in Batesville, AR to parents Frank and Geneva (Turner) Rose. He graduated from Cave City High School in 1965 and started working for Ford Motor Company, he later moved to Little Rock, AR and then to Kansas where he worked for Cessna and Boeing, from which he retired in 2006. On October 5, 1973 Tom was united in marriage to the love of his life, Cynthia Prichard. Tom enjoyed gardening, golfing, bowling, working on computers, watching Top Gear, all kinds of motorized vehicles and toys, and spending time drinking beer with his friends and family.
He is survived by his wife Cynthia, of the home; children Francis Rose, Christopher Rose (Sandy), Daniel Rose (Misty), Sarah Boothe (Jeremy), Anna Rose and Michael Rose (Gabriela); grandchildren: Kevin, Chandy, Stephen, Shanteil, Alexander, Nicholas, Hunter and Dylan; great-grandchildren Harley and Atreus, and brother Billy Bob Rose. Tom is preceded in death by his parents.
