Scott Alan Logsdon, 52, of Arkansas City, KS passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis Hospital.
A time of visitation is scheduled from 5-7 PM Monday, November 8 at the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Arkansas City. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at the Funeral Home, private interment services will take place at a later time. Memorial contributions for Scott may be made to Narcotics Anonymous, donations may be left in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home. Food and comfort for friends and family will be provided at The Gathering Place in Ark City, south of town, after the funeral.
Scott was born October 28, 1969 at Arkansas City Memorial Hospital; Son of Richard and Ruth (Bilyeu) Logsdon. He graduated from Arkansas City High School in 1988 and later went to the Cowley College Trade School for machining. He used his skills working at Galaxy, Vector and other small machine shops. Scott was known as Mr. Fix-it, he loved helping people however he could, working on cars, he also enjoyed fishing, chicken fights, searching for arrowheads and spending quality time with his family.
Scott is survived by his children: Lindsey Logsdon, Jordyn Mosier, and Zackry Mosier; grandchildren: Dax and Marley Videgar; mother Ruth Logsdon; brother Doug and Angela Logsdon; sister Jenni and Matt Doyle, grandmother Luella Logsdon, and significant other Brandi Cullum. He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Logsdon; grandparents Golden and Regina Bilyeu, John and Dorothy Spencer, J.D. Logsdon; cousin Shona Logsdon and best friend Shane Fildes.
