Othie Neil Wilson, 84, passed away Wednesday, March 03, 2021 in Arkansas City.

Celebration of life services will be held at a later date by the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cowley County Humane Society and may be left in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Arkansas City.

Neil was born on April 17, 1936 in Amherst, Texas. After graduating from high school in 1954 Neil enlisted in the US Navy as a radar repairman until was later honorably discharged in 1958. Upon returning home he started Neil Wilson Equipment Company where he installed industrial conveyor belt systems. On September 25th 1987 he was united in marriage to Darlene Day. In his spare time Neil enjoyed refurbishing furniture, woodworking, welding, playing guitar, playing 4 card Keno and poker.

Neil is survived by his daughters, Melany Mayer, Robyn Baumann and husband Matthew, Stephanie Dudley and husband Brian Ruebke; grandchildren: Rylee Mayer, Madison Mayer, Kyla Mueller, Aidan Baumann, Adalyn Baumann, and Gage Dudley; and sisters Carol and Janice. He is preceded in death by his wife, Darlene.
