Norma Snyder Obituary

Norma Jean Snyder, 84, of Winfield, KS passed away Sunday, April 24, 2022 at Winfield Senior Living Community.

There are no services scheduled at this time, Norma will be laid to rest at the Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery in Maryland. Memorial contributions in Norma’s name may be made to the Cowley County Humane Society, donations may be left in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home.

Norma was born on December 31, 1937 in Cherokee, OK to parents Paul and Edith Kathrin (Williams) Tharp. She attended college in Baltimore, Maryland, and started working as a CPA which took her all over the country, to Denver and Pueblo, Colorado, Pennsylvania, San Francisco, and finally Arkansas City where she retired in 2000. Norma enjoyed reading, listening to music, and various arts and crafts.

Norma is survived by her son Ronald Hart and wife Incha, grandchildren Heather, Lise and Johnathan, and great-grandchildren, Kyle, Damian, Natalie, Dylan, Logan, and Oscar. She is preceded in death by her parents and daughter Cindy Schultheis.
