Nedra Colleen Martin, 72, of Burden, KS passed away October 9, 2021.

Colleen was born in Granola, KS the daughter of Alvin and Ernestine (Logsdon) Underwood. She graduated from Granola High School in 1967. In 1984 Colleen was united in marriage to Darrell D. Martin, he preceded her in death July 28, 1987. Colleen worked at Rubbermaid for 9 years and also enjoyed being a homemaker and a foster grandma at Country View and Irving Elementary Schools. Colleen’s hobbies included camping, fishing, model trains, spending time with friends at the senior center, going to the K&O Gas and Steam Engine Show and making monster cookies for her grandkids.

Survivors include her children, Anvil Martin, William (Misti) Martin, and Joseph Partridge (Marissa); siblings, Nevela Ceynar, Carrol (Donna) Underwood, Emma Kelly, and Ira (Louise) Underwood; 7 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. Colleen is preceded in death by her parents, sister Alvena Sloan, and 1 great-grandchild.

According to her wishes, no services will be held and Colleen will be laid to rest at the Grenola Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield.
