Judith Ann (Moore) Skiles

Judith Ann (Moore) Skiles, 80, passed away Friday, October 15, 2021 at the South Central Kansas Regional Medical Center in Arkansas City.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the Missionary Baptist Church of Arkansas City. Memorial contributions may be made to the Missionary Baptist Church, donations may be left in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Arkansas City.

Judy was born in Portales, NM on July 2, 1941 the daughter of Thomas J. Moore and Dorothy Ann Watkins. She attended high school in Arkansas City. On December 1, 1981 Judy was united in marriage to Bruce Lloyd Skiles in Deadwood, SD, he preceded her in death in 2015. Judy was a homemaker and enjoyed raising her family, she also worked at Litwins Clothing for 10 years. She was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church, and loved making food, especially for church functions and family, she always made sure no one ever went hungry. Family was very important to Judy, and she loved her grandbabies dearly.

She is survived by her children: Steve Martin, Jeff Martin, Clint Martin, Kelli Westfall, Linda Williams, and Bruce Skiles Jr.; siblings Rosemary Carson, Jeannie Colbert, and Tom Moore; and 20 grandchildren. Judy is preceded in death by her husband, parents, son Forest Martin, and step-daughter Joyce Clements.
