Georgia Gayle Robison, 77, of Newton, KS passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at the Kansas Christian Home of Newton.
Georgia was born on March 4, 1946 in Winfield, KS to parents Homer Lee and Geneva Jo Todd (Harris) Higdon. She attended Cowley College and received an associate degree in accounting with honors. Georgia worked as a school bus driver and later at the Rose Hill Bank as a teller. On June 8, 1985 she was united in marriage to the love of her life Richard “Tom” Thomas Robison. Georgia enjoyed shopping, baking, especially banana nut bread, helping people, and was a Sunday school teacher at Free Will Baptist in Wellington, KS. The most important thing to her was her family.
Georgia is survived by her husband Tom, children Kala Whiteside (George), Pamela Robison, Connie Sue Robison, Mike Freeman (Delinda), and Joshua Robison (Victoria), 18 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and son Nick, grandson Jace Garrett Kinzie and nephew Dr. Homer “Lee” Higdon III.
Memorial services will be held at St. Matthews Episcopal Church of Newton, KS on Friday, November 10, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to the KCH Legacy of John Memorial, donations may be left in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Arkansas City.
