Colleen was born in Los Angeles, CA on May 24, 1941 the daughter of Francis and Georgia (Severin) Maschino. She went to the one-room country school at Elmwood through 8th grade and 4 years at Beaver High School. She graduated from Beaver High School in 1959, and worked as a waitress in high school, after graduating she attended business college in Amarillo, TX for 10 months. On June 17, 1961 Colleen was united in marriage to Gene Leon Fox at Grace Lutheran Church in Liberal, KS. The couple made their home in Winfield having one child, their daughter Ramona. Colleen worked at Beaver Title Company, Shineman Meat Market, Joe Wrench Motors, as a school bus aide, and she was eventually able to run her own home daycare while being a full-time homemaker. Some of Colleen's most cherished moments were the Sundays she sat in church with her family and the dinners held after. Mike’s fried fish, hushpuppies, and okra were her favorite. She loved going to her weekly ladies' bible class and volunteering to help with any church activities. It was always very important to her to share the Lord's word and her love for Jesus with others. She loved any kind of quilt, teddy bear and most of all butterflies. Colleen had several hobbies she enjoyed including reading, coloring, doing puzzle books, playing cards, and listening to records. She loved all games of BINGO, candy bar BINGO and Dirty BINGO were her favorites. She loved doing her weekly crafts and activities with her girlfriends. She always looked forward to the grandkids having their sleep overnight when they were growing up. She was her family’s biggest supporter, she loved going to their ball games and activities and spending quality time together, she always said it made her heart feel full. Colleen treasured every moment she got to spend with her great-grandchildren. She also valued the number of non-related children that called her Grandma, as there were many that looked to her to fill that role. She loved any kind of caramel candy, but most of all caramel werthers were her favorite. Another favorite treat was her daily 1-2 scoops of vanilla ice cream drizzled with hot fudge and caramel. The great-grandkids were sure to keep her stocked up on it. She also loved her sonic Jr. cheeseburger with mayo only and a small vanilla shake with Caramel. It was a family favorite to surprise her with fish and hush puppies any time a trip to Ark City was made.

She is survived by her sisters Carolyn Meier, Joyce Mitchell, and Kaye Maschino, her brother Roger Maschino, son-in-law Michael Keesey, grandchildren Jason Wayne Keesey, Brian Eugene Keesey, Austin Glenn Keesey and wife Bionca, Sarah Marie Hall and husband James, great-grandchildren Brinley, Aubrey, Wyatt, Timmy, and Barrett Keesey.  Colleen is preceded in death by her grandparents, Anton and Georgia Maschino, Frank and Mary Severin,  parents Francis and Georgia Maschino, sisters, Ramona Marilyn, Linda Waters, Gerry Newton, husband, Gene Fox, her loving daughter, Ramona Keesey and grandson Ryan Keesey.
