Dorothy ”Darlene” Rhodes, 82, of Arkansas City, KS passed away August 29, 2023 at Medicalodges of Arkansas City.

There are no services scheduled at this time. Arrangements are entrusted to the Shelley Family Funeral Home.

Darlene was born on August 19, 1941 in Arkansas City to parents Dan and Pearl (McBride) Rhodes. She attended Ark City schools. Darlene enjoyed her family, collected dolls of all types, and loved to take a daily walk to Daisy Mae’s Cafe where she was sure to be seen with a cup of hot coffee in hand. She is survived by her siblings, Danny, Diane, Dave, Dale, Delores, Dick and Dennis.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Donald and Dean.
