Darrell Morse Obituary

Darrell James Morse, 74, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2020 in Wichita, KS.

Private graveside services will be held at the Winfield Veterans’ Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are in care of Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield.

Darrell was born in Tacoma, WA on October, 6, 1945 to parents Fred and Lucille (Barngrover) Morse. He served in the Navy and was a roofer for 45 years. He was united in marriage to Merrilee (Painter) February 14, 1994. Darrell was a member of the First United Methodist Church, he loved volunteering at the local food bank, serving the homeless and loved spending time with family.

Survivors include wife Merrilee, children: Eugene John Gilbert Jr., Patrick Gilbert, D.J. Morse, and Ryan Morse. He is preceded in death by his parents.
