Cari Ann Wiegman, 65, of rural Cowley County, KS passed away May 4, 2023.
Interment services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, May 19, 2023 at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery in Winfield. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield, to defray expenses.
Cari was born on July 6, 1957 to parents Charles R. and Marjorie (White) Coberly in Wichita, KS. She was raised in Winfield and attended Winfield schools. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Joe Wiegman on June 11, 1987 in Maimi, OK. Cari enjoyed sewing and growing things at her home, she cooked at Biedermans Café, Creekstone Farms and nursing homes, but her best cooking was always at home for her family. She was a proud member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the VFW Auxiliary and a Navy Wives Club member.
Cari is survived by her husband Joe, her daughter Amanda Wiegman and husband Jeremy Stewart, 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, brother David Coberly of Overland Park, KS and uncle Steve White of Houston, TX.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sons Charles Victor Gleaves, Douglas Robert Gleaves, and daughter Kristina Gleaves.
