Samuel Leis Obituary

Samuel Lawrence Leis, 24, of Oxford, KS, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2019.

Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 14, 2019 at the Oxford United Methodist Church, Oxford, Kansas. Memorial donations may be made out to the Kansas Humane Society, left in care of Oxford Funeral Service.

Sam was born September 5, 1994, the son of Jeff and Ann (Stinson) Leis in Wichita, KS. He graduated from Oxford High School in 2013. Sam worked in construction. He was an Eagle Scout, enjoyed skate boarding and video games. He loved animals and especially his pets, Bonnie and Angel.

Sam is survived by his parents, Jeff and Ann; siblings Dawn (Jon) Chapman of Knoxville, Tennessee, Steve Leis of Wichita, Amanda Crawford of Clearwater; grandmother Ruth Stinson; and 2 nieces and 2 nephews.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Evelyn and Lawrence Leis and George Stinson.
