Patrick Ivan Deakins

Patrick Ivan Deakins, 42, went to be with the Lord on December 23, 2018. In Wichita, KS.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, December 31, 2018 at the South Haven Baptist Church in South Haven. 

Patrick was born on October 20, 1976 in Gravette, Arkansas.  Son of Jack & Pat (Miller) Reynolds of Hunnewell, KS, and Terry Ivan Deakins of Caldwell, KS.

Patrick graduated from South Haven High School in 1996.  Patrick worked as a self-employed oil field pumper. Patrick was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend to the very end.

Patrick will always be remembered for his larger than life personality.   Always the life of the party.  He enjoyed playing his guitar and singing.  Playing pool with his friends, or just hanging out with them.  Patrick had many lifelong friends who were more like family to him.  Patrick loved to fish and spent many days out hand fishing during the summers.  Patrick loved to ride the motorcycle whenever he got the chance on a nice day.  Patrick also liked to spend time at the casinos where he was known to hit a few jackpots.  Patrick had many pets over the years and had a love for dogs all his life.

Patrick is survived by his Daughter Kayla Deakins; Grandson Grant; Parents, Jack & Pat Reynolds, and Terry Ivan Deakins; Sisters Amanda Wells, Verna Rohrbaugh, Erika Coulter, and Amanda Russell; Brothers Nathan Deakins, Travis Deakins, Tracy Deakins, and Jeremy Reynolds.  Patrick had many Aunts and Uncles; Nieces’ and Nephew’s; many, many cousins, and many more very close friends.

Patrick was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Doris Ringer; Kenneth & Oma Aline Miller; Uncle Johnny Ray Miller; Cousin Sheila Renee Grable, and her children Cristian, Gage, and Katlynn.  Patrick will be greatly missed by so many.
