Margaret Ruth Seal

Margaret Seal, 95, of Wellington, passed away on October 25, 2018 at the Brookdale Senior Living Center in Wellington, Kansas.

Graveside Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, November 3, 2018 at the Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Wellington with the Rev. Andy Hargrove of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Shelley Family Funeral Home of Wellington is in charge of arrangements.

Margaret was born June 12, 1923 in Wellington, Kansas. She graduated from Wellington High School in 1941.  Upon graduation she moved to New York City to work for American Airlines.  She then moved to Midland, Texas in 1955 to work for Continental Oil Company and moved back to New York in 1958 to work for John B. Hewett, Inc. and worked there until she retired in 1992, then she moved back to Wellington.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and William Asa Seal Sr. and her brother, Bill Seal.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Leila Seal of Midland, Texas; nephew, Jeffrey Seal and wife Nancy of Buda, Texas; nephew, Craig Seal of Glenwood Springs, Colorado; niece, Sally Seal Opachan and husband Mark of Midland, Texas; grand-niece, Alexis Seal of Midland, Texas; Grand-nephew Ryan Opachan of Midland, Texas; and friend and dedicated caregiver, Jill Cole DeJarnett of Wellington, Kansas.
