Judy Bender, 75, of Wellington, KS, passed away, December 30, 2018 at Sumner Regional Medical Center.

Cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled at this time.

Judy Josephine was born May 22, 1943, the daughter of Thomas and Laura (Bauer) Aufleger in Sharon, KS. She graduated from Sharon High School in 1961. On August 11, 1979 Judy was united in marriage to Lowell Bender. Judy was a paralegal secretary. She enjoyed shopping for antiques, cooking, and gardening and spending time with her family.

Judy is survived by her loving husband, Lowell of the home; sons: Jeff McGuire (Julie) of Wellington and Colin McGuire of Wichita; 5 grandchildren: Jeffrey McGuire, Rachel McGuire, Lilly McGuire, Tyler McGuire and Trammer McGuire; 2 great grandchildren: James and Hadlee; and 3 sisters: Charlene Fischer, Peggy Evans and Barb Shelite.

She is preceded in death by her parents.
