Charles “Chuck’’ Arthur Jordan, 86, of Arkansas City, KS passed away Sunday, March 31, 2024 at Cumbernauld Village in Winfield.

There are no services scheduled at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to Cumbernauld Village or Harry Hynes Hospice, donations may be left in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home.

Chuck was born on July 14, 1937 to parents Jim and Alice (Brown) Jordan. He attended Gueda Springs High School. On March 15, 1963 he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Mary Bellis. Chuck worked at GE Aerospace as an engineer for 48 years. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed fishing, yardwork, coaching youth sports, golfing, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Chuck is survived by his wife Mary Jordan, daughter Patricia Wright (Jeb), son Jay Jordan (Lynn), grandchildren: Cassidy Wright, Miles Cameron Crabtree, Robert Eastman, and Kendra Bartel, eight great-grandchildren, siblings: Fern Scott, Gloria Wixon, George Jordan, Ed Jordan, Larry Jordan, Donna Brown, and Tillie Wright.

Chuck is preceded in death by his parents, siblings Kyle Jordan, Jack Jordan, Betty Smith, Jim Jordan, Billie Mac, and Bob Jordan.
